A Woofersation

Man: Why are you staring at me like that?
Dog: I’m observing human behaviour. You’re fascinating. Slightly confusing. Distracted at times. But mostly angry.

Man: Really?
Dog: Yeah. You sit with me, but your mind goes on very long walks. No leash. No recall.

Man: I’m just thinking.
Dog: Humans call it thinking. Dogs call it worrying about things that aren’t biting you yet.

Man: You wouldn’t understand.
Dog: I understand patterns. You chase tomorrow and trip over today. Happens daily. I’ve counted.

Man: That’s deep… for a dog.
Dog: Thank you. I also lick my feet, so stay humble.

Man: What else do humans do wrong?
Dog: You ignore what’s in front of you and miss what’s right beside you. Look around.

Man: We have responsibilities.
Dog: I do too. Guard the house. Love you unconditionally. Nap with intention.

Man: So what should humans do instead?
Dog: Pause. Breathe. Listen. Most importantly, Forgive like it never happened. Like us.

Man: You mean Forget?
Dog: No. I said Forgive. I just told you to listen. But never forget, so you don’t repeat the mistakes.

Man: You make it sound simple.
Dog: It is. You complicate joy. We schedule it between naps.

Man: And if we forget?
Dog: Then you will be happier than today. Try it.

The colour of old leaves, handwritten ledgers, and mornings that knew your name.

Leader vs Leader

If you sit with the idea of leadership without the noise of notifications, dashboards, and borrowed opinions, something quietly clarifies. The greatest leaders are rarely juggling ten agendas. They are obsessively committed to one. Vision, carried by passion.

What’s the rush?

Life has become a high-speed chase, a blur of deadlines and buzzing notifications that nibble at our attention like tireless little creatures. In this relentless sprint, we outrun ourselves. Mornings are rushed, conversations are clipped, and stillness feels like a luxury from a bygone era.

Observe what’s around you. Alone. Quietly. Over a cup of coffee or maybe a drink.
Slow the pace enough to let the world reveal itself.
